I'm an enthusiastic and pro-active UI Designer and Web Developer whose passion is easy solutions in creating beautiful and user friendly web & mobile applications. With 4 years of freelance work, 2 years of Interactive Media Design (HND) and 2 years of Web Development courses (Honours), I have an excellent understanding of how technology can efficiently and effectively be used to align with desires and requirements of both business and general customers alike.

    During my study time I have designed and developed several web sites for small businesses, individuals and friends. From the design point of view, the projects involved complete web designs including logo, banner, graphic elements, business cards and business papers. Development part of the project included different techniques from basic HTML to complicated CSS and Flash websites. All projects involved SEO techniques for improving the visibility of the websites in a search engines.

    Web Designer – Started at W&E as summer work experience, from which they offered me a position within the company where I worked for 14 months. This has provided me with invaluable experience within a real world working environment. I have worked within the International development team on technologically advanced applications, which has given me a fantastic insight into such platforms.

    UI Designer – 4 months contract position with responsibility of mobile and web application development for UCAS events in England and Wales. This short but very intensive project has provided me with experience of working within a very large company working with many different teams and divisions. The short timescale for this project also proved my ability of keeping the development in line with the tight schedules. Main responsibilities: Designing and creating mock-ups of the applications, Building previously designed applications using HTML5, CSS (CSS3) and jQuery, Coordinating work of the other teams providing content and graphic elements on time for development.

    In my spare time I like to spend quality time with my wonderful wife and my little baby boy. The most extreme and interesting of my many hobbies is Scuba Diving. I used this interest as the theme for my University Honours Project. I created a divers log website that is available for use by anyone interested in Scuba Diving.
